Press Release: SummerQuest Kicks Off Saturday, May 18th
Bullitt County Public Library’s annual SummerQuest series kicks off on Saturday, May 18th with a jam-packed festival at Hillview Branch Library’s outdoor pavilion. Be amazed by gravity-defying aerial acrobatics, enjoy spectacular music performances, and indulge your creativity at the Spin Art station, where kids and grownups alike can have a blast creating one-of-a-kind tie-dyed art pieces. Plus, cool off with free shaved ice from the SnoWhat food truck and let the kiddos jump to their hearts’ content in AstroJump’s Jumbo Bounce House.
Press Release: Libraries = Strong Communities
This week, Bullitt County Public Library (BCPL) joins libraries in schools, campuses, and communities nationwide in celebrating the many ways libraries strengthen their communities through the transformative services, programs, and expertise they offer. April 7th–14th is National Library Week, an annual celebration of the life-changing work of libraries, librarians, and library workers.
Press Release: Join BCPL in Celebrating the Everyday Heroes of Our Community
Heroes don’t always wear capes! Sometimes, the greatest heroes are the everyday people who work to help others and improve their communities. Obviously, this includes first responders like police officers and firefighters, but local volunteers and people who look out for their neighbors are also heroes in their own right. In honor of those individuals and anyone who wants to discover ways they can give back too, Bullitt County Public Library is hosting its first ever Community Heroes Festival on Saturday, March 23rd. The festival will showcase local charities, organizations, and people who give back to their community in amazing ways.
