Stock the Shelves: Hillview Pantry Drive

Reads "Stock the Shelves: Hillview Pantry Drive" with colorful canned goods, boxed pantry items, and diapers. Help us fill Hillview’s community pantry!

When Hillview Branch Library reopens, the expanded library will include a community pantry stocked with food, baby supplies, personal-care items, and other everyday essentials for local families in need.

Throughout October, we’re asking our community to help us fill those shelves for the first time. Bring donations to any BCPL location from October 1st–31st, and we’ll make sure they reach Hillview.

A New Resource for Hillview

The community pantry will be part of the expanded Hillview Branch Library when it reopens in early 2027. It will bring together food, baby essentials, and Community Care items in one convenient place, helping connect local families with everyday necessities when they need them.

The October Stock the Shelves drive will provide the pantry’s initial supply, with all donated items collected across BCPL locations and delivered to Hillview to get shelves ready before the Grand Reopening.
