Join us to explore a variety of heath and wellness topics with the experts! Journey with us through sessions designed to build strength in mind and body through reflection, movement, relaxation, and other self-care practices.

For ages 18 and up.
Enjoy a new video every Sunday morning from the comfort of home via BCPL’s main Facebook page. Can’t make it at 10:00 AM? That’s fine, too. Each session will remain online to view, share, and enjoy for three months after the original air date!

She began teaching classes at BCPL in 2018, including Yoga, Choga Tuesdays, virtual Chair Yoga sessions during the height of the pandemic, and kids’ yoga classes. You can currently join Stephanie at the library in person at for Chair Yoga or Little Yogis for kids ages 3–5.

Rev. Jacqueline Hope Derby, MDiv, is an ordained minister, a certified Advanced Bereavement Facilitator, and a national speaker on self care for healthcare staff and foster families. Rev. Derby is a graduate of Duke Divinity School and is now pursuing an MFA at the Spalding University’s School of Creative and Professional Writing. Rev. Derby currently works as a spiritual & grief care coach, where she uses conversation, prayer, meditation, and spiritual-based practices to help aid in healing.

Craig Caudill is the Director and Chief Instructor of Nature Reliance School. He regularly teaches first responders, university students, and a variety of corporate and government agencies skills including outdoor survival, wilderness navigation, and tracking. In 2020, he provided online video lessons in our Vital Survival series covering topics like wilderness skills, essential gear, first aid, personal and group security, situational awareness, and more.

Craig is the author of the books Extreme Wilderness Survival and Ultimate Wilderness Gear and co-author of Essential Wilderness Navigation. He has been featured on public education television for the shows Kentucky Afield, Kentucky Life, and Tim Farmer’s Country Kitchen. His work can also be seen in Field and Stream, Outdoor Life, Backwoods Survival Guide, Self-Reliance Illustrated, American Prepper, Wilderness Way, American Frontiersman, Ballistic, and American Survival Guide. He has a very active blog which contains his podcasts (host and guest spots) and also guest blogs for a variety of popular websites.
