Be amazed by gravity-defying aerial acrobatics, enjoy spectacular music performances, and indulge your creativity at the Spin Art station, where kids and grownups alike can have a blast creating one-of-a-kind tie-dyed art pieces. Plus, cool off with free shaved ice from the SnoWhat food truck and let the kiddos jump to their hearts’ content in AstroJump’s Jumbo Bounce House.

This year’s outdoor kickoff festival will also include our first Homemade Homegrown Fest showcasing a variety of local crafters, foodies, artisans, gardeners, and more demoing and selling their products. And don’t forget to stop by our special BCPL stations to learn all about the exciting adventures coming your way this summer. Main Stage Performance Schedule:

12:00–1:00 PM | Steel Appeal
Enjoy a dynamic musical performance from Steel Appeal, a group of steel-drum musicians and educators based in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
1:15–2:00 PM | Down to Earth Aerials
Amanda Finch, aerial acrobatics artist and a graduate of Ecole Cirque Nationale of Cirque du Soleil, will captivate you with a unique acrobatic performance designed to astound, teach, and inspire. Following the performance, children are invited to sit in the aerial cocoon, ask questions, and take photos.
2:00–3:00 PM | Cull Hollow
An acoustic bluegrass duo that that draws heavily on Kentucky’s deep musical history, Cull Hollow is a fan favorite for both staunch traditionalists and progressives alike. Performers Mickey McAdams and Jordan Bennett weave their diverse musical backgrounds and interests into undeniably entertaining performances that include hard-driving bluegrass classics, cutting-edge originals, popular songs, close harmony singing, and exciting banjo/guitar improvisations.
3:15–4:00 PM | Down to Earth Aerials
If you missed the first show or simply can’t get enough of Amanda’s gravity-defying acrobatics, join us for an encore performance!

Psst…
SummerQuest Kickoff is happening simultaneously this year with our first Homemade Homegrown Fest! If it rains, the performers from the main stage will move inside. Homemade Homegrown Fest will be canceled until the next event in June. Additional parking will be available in the Annex parking lot as well as the large parking lot in front of the old storefronts. Patrons who wish to stay for the full 4-hour run of the event to enjoy all of the performances and activities may wish to bring their own picnic lunch, drinks, and snacks—or they can indulge in some of the treats for sale at Homemade Homegrown booths.

For all ages. Just drop in!
Space will be available on a first-come, first served basis. Questions? E-mail Patrick at [email protected].
