Learning is an adventure…
Gather around the “campfire” and get ready for kindergarten! Each session of Kinder Camp will focus on one of the five core foundations of school readiness to help your littles prepare for the day-to-day of attending school. Children will practice self-help strategies, self-advocating, motor skills, interactive play skills, communication, following direction, and conflict resolution through sensory activities and tons of dramatic play. From kindergarten basics to mock scenarios like taking a school bus or lunch in the cafeteria, this monthly series will build skills and confidence so kids (and parents) will be ready when their first school year begins.
5 Essential Domains of School Readiness:
- Language and Literacy
- Cognitive Ability & General Knowledge
- Approaches to Learning
- Physical Well Being & Movement
- Social & Emotional Development
Psst… Each session will involve parent/guardian engagement. Participation at all 10 monthly sessions from October–July is highly recommended.
For the incoming kindergarteners of the 2022–2023 school year.
Registration is required for a select number of reserved seats. Additional seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? Call Ms. Jillian at 543-7675 ext. 2557 or e-mail [email protected].
