The Forgotten Castles series tells the story of a strong independent girl, named Lady Alexandria Featherstone.  Part romance and all adventure, this fun romp through Ireland is full of intrigue.

The Stand (Complete and Uncut) by Stephen King

Beth says:
King is a master at taking something that could actually happen—like the government accidentally releasing a germ—and weaving his story around it.Even though the page count can be intimidating, it’s a great story of good vs evil. Within the first 30 pages of this book, you are sucked into the story and the backstories of each character.

Paper Girls Vol. I by Brian K. Vaughan

Beth says:
For anyone who likes graphic novels—especially girls—this series has it all: aliens, dinosaurs (YAY), time warps, and girls that can kick butt and take care of themselves! It’s great to see women/girls as the strong leaders!

Chris says:
Imaginative and wild. This comic has a way of playing with your perceptions and keeping you guessing.

Tracy says:
Smart and bizarre in all the best ways, Paper Girls is a sci-fi adventure filled with strange twists and a cool ’80s vibe. A weird and wonderful rollercoaster ride for Stranger Things fans!

Crash! The Cat by David McPhail

Beth says:
I loved this book!! Being a cat lover, I can relate to a kitty who’s a handful! Crash the Cat runs around and crashes into things and people, but his family loves him just the way he is. This book teaches children and adults about unconditional love.

Trio-the Story of a Three-Legged Cat by Andrea Wisnewski

Beth says:
Trio the three-legged cat won’t be stopped from trying just because he only has 3 legs. He shows us how to work to overcome obstacles, that everyone is different, and that you should accept people (and cats) they way they are! I loved his true story—and there’s more of his life story at the end of the book!!

Beautiful Broken Girls by Kim Savage

Heather says:
This is a bizarre tale, but the writing is so good and the execution so flawless, it allows for the arcane to bleed into reality. The big reveal is simply stunning, and waiting for it is the best part.
