Bring the kids for a safe, up-close encounter with real, live sharks!
Join the Newport Aquarium’s WAVE Foundation and their mobile Shark Cart to explore a keystone species in our ocean’s ecosystem. In addition to live sharks, you’ll also get to see a shark jaw, shark eggs, and more fascinating biofacts. By then end of this program you will know how you can make a difference in shark conservation—and why that’s important!
And did we mention LIVE SHARKS?!!!
For the convenience of our patrons and to keep the crowd down for the safety of our FIN-tastic friends, we’ll have two sessions on August 20th:
- 11:00 AM–12:00 PM @Lebanon Junction
- 2:00–3:00 PM @Nichols
