Come be yourself—or not!—at our first Nerd Prom, organized by BCPL’s Teen Planning Committee!

Pull on your fancy party clothes, add a little geeky flair, and prepare to let your inner nerd out to play. At Nerd Prom, we’re not afraid to bring the romance with a little romantic music (selected by actual teens, we promise!) and some slow dancing. But whether you bring a date or a friend, play the awkward third date or the quiet loner, or come in a big group, there will be nerdy fun had by all. In addition to music and dancing, guests can enjoy indie game stations, fandom trivia battles, and more!

Of course, no prom is complete without a court. Participants will vote for our Queen and King, but everyone is nerdy royalty at this prom!

Nerdy, semi-formal attire is encouraged. But we’ll have a few items on hand to help you geek it up if needed. Capes, anyone?
