DESCRIPTION: Fifty-one-year-old widow Emma Garrett runs Hill House, a boardinghouse in Candlewood, New York. She spends her days happily taking care of her guests until her lawyer delivers life-changing news concerning the future of Hill House and all of its inhabitants. Meanwhile, a colorful new guest involves her in a growing family feud.
