Makerspace: Ink Floating Art
Hang out and make art on the 2nd Tuesday of the month!
Come explore your artistic limits! Raid our maker cart and choose from a variety of art supplies and tools—from high-tech equipment like our 3D Printers and Wacom art tablets to low-tech supplies like oil pastels and fine-line drawing pens. Then, use our supplies and your imagination to make your artistic visions a reality! We’ll also have drinks and snacks if you just want to chill and hang with your friends.
For ages 12–18. Just drop in!

August 13th: Bob Ross Paint Along
Make happy accidents this month by painting a Bob Ross masterpiece! Follow video instructions from Bob himself to paint your happy little trees and clouds on canvas.
September 10th: Ink Floating Art
Taking inspiration from the Japanese ancient art of Suminagashi, this month create totally unique marble prints with floating ink techniques. Dive in and take a swirl to make something beautiful and vibrant!
October 8th: Cardboard Monsters
Calling all you guys and ghouls to create some fun cardboard creatures in honor of Halloween. Make your creation as silly or as scary as you’d like—all monsters are welcome at Makerspace this month!
