Our SummerQuest celebration may be officially over, but BCPL still has plenty of exciting things happening through the rest of the summer! Our top breaking news is that we are finally ready to announce a date for our new Mt. Washington Branch Library.
A Dedication Ceremony is planned for Saturday, September 9th! And as soon as possible—definitely BEFORE the Dedication—we will open to the public. We don’t want the scheduling conflicts and advance notice requirements that come with a formal event to delay the opening, so we are saving the formal celebration for later and opening the doors as soon as we have our materials moved in and the keys in hand. We’ll let you know on our website and on Facebook as soon as that date is determined. You can learn more about our new building—and everything else happening at BCPL this August—in the print edition of out August 2017 Library Bulletin.
