SUMMARY:TPC's Talent Show for The Shepherd's Pantry
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a community-wide talent show that is ALL about our community! \nShow off your unique talent\, enjoy the show\, and help feed community members in need! During the show\, we will be collecting boxed and canned items to help fill Shepherd’s pantries throughout Bullitt County. A variety of talents\, from the traditional to the weirdly awesome\, are welcome. \nYou can: \n\nSing\, dance\, cheer\, or play a musical instrument\nRecite a poem or act out a short skit\nJuggle or amuse us with your comedy stylings (keep it clean\, please!)\nShow off your magic tricks\, or amaze us with your yo-yo\, hula hoop\, or jump rope skills\nOr entertain us with whatever other creative skills you can imagine\, from pen twirling to eyebrow wiggling to talking backwords…\n\nThis event is organized by the Teen Planning Committee. \nJust drop in! For middle and high school ages.\nSeating will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Questions about your talent? E-mail steven@bcplib.org. \n\nAbout the Teen Planning Committee\n\nJoin forces with other cool teens and our awesome Teen Services team to help plan big events\, suggest new teen programs\, and recommend books and movies for our collection. Plus\, you can learn about library careers and even earn volunteer hours for school! \nFor middle & high school ages.\nJust drop in on the 2nd Thursday of the month! Please note\, occasionally special events developed by the Teen Planning Committee will take place during regular meet times.
