Hang out and create at BCPL!

On the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of each month, come explore cool tech tools and techniques you can use to pursue your digital passions. A new topic—and sometimes an awesome guest speaker!—will be featured each month. We’ll also have drinks and snacks if you just want to chill and hang with your friends.

For middle & high school ages.
Just drop in! Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? E-mail [email protected].

Upcoming topics include:

NOVEMBER: Customized Ringtones & Notifications Sounds
Are you tired of having the same boring ringtone and generic notification alerts as everyone else? Would you love to have dedicated ringtones for your friends and family members so you’ll always know who’s calling? Whatever you have in mind—whether you want to sample a hilarious catchphrase from your favorite TV show, use a creepy noise from your favorite horror flick, create a snippet from your favorite song, we’ll show you how to make it happen! Plus, learn how to import FREE special effect libraries from the Web to your Android or Apple device.

DECEMBER: Pi Christmas Trees
At the December 4th event only!
Do you like all things Christmas? Does the idea of learning how to code fascinate you? Come learn to use the Raspberry Pi and a little coding know-how to make your very own mini Christmas trees that light up!

JANUARY
Please note, there will be no Digital Tech Lab on January 1st. The Library will be closed for the holiday. Happy New Year!
You can still drop in at our Ridgway Memorial, Hillview, and Mt. Washington locations on January 17th to explore some cool tech tools!
