DESCRIPTION:Join the festival at Hillview’s outdoor pavilion as we kick off SummerQuest at BCPL! \n\nEnjoy free New Orleans Style Snoballs at the SnoWhat food truck.\nTest your rhythm at the amphitheater stage featuring dozens of West African djembe drums and other percussion instruments from Sound Community Louisville.\nLook for cool giveaways from the folks at Second Chances Wildlife Center\, Forest Edge Winery\, Keystone Cinemas\, Texas Roadhouse\, Starbucks\, and more around the walking path!\nKids can get jumping in Mickey’s Choo Choo Express and racing in the Kentucky Backyard Derby inflatables.\nAnd older kids\, teens\, and adults can test their skill and balance in the Toxic Meltdown experience!\n\nPlus\, one lucky patron will win a trip for two in a hot air balloon from Lighter Than Air Balloon Adventures. And before you leave\, be sure to pick up your copy of the Kids’ Adventure Guide or the Questing Guide for Teens and Adults to explore more amazing SummerQuest programs\, reading challenges\, quests\, and prizes! \nFinally\, this year BCPL\, in partnership with the Louisville Free Public Library and Fund for the Arts\, will offer the Cultural Pass! The Cultural Pass provides free access to many of Greater Louisville’s arts and cultural institutions including local attractions like Bernheim Forest.
