DESCRIPTION:Bring the kids for an up-close and personal encounter with real-life African penguins! \nJoin the Newport Aquarium’s WAVE Foundation and their penguin ambassadors to learn all about these incredible animals\, including their natural history\, habitat\, diet\, and more. Plus\, learn how the WAVE Foundation helps us to protect and understand these amazing birds. \nFor the convenience of our patrons and to keep the crowd down for the safety of our waddly visitors\, we’ll have two sessions on June 9th\, both at Ridgway Memorial Library: \n\n1:00–2:00 PM\n3:00–4:00 PM\n\nPsst… Check out some books from our display to learn even more about these remarkable creatures! \nFor children of all ages.\nRegistration is required for a select number of reserved spots.
