DESCRIPTION:Off the Shelf Teen Book Club is now at our Mt. Washington location with an all-new format! \nJoin us on the 2nd Tuesday of the month to hang out\, eat snacks\, make crafts\, and talk about books! Each month\, we’ll have a different theme to explore. Tell us about the books you’ve loved—or hated!—that fit that month’s theme\, plus get some awesome recommendations and take home a one-of-a-kind craft perfect for your book-loving soul. \nUpcoming themes include:\nMay 14th: SPACE\nFiction\, nonfiction\, whatever. If you like aliens\, space ships\, NASA\, black holes\, time travel\, or any other space or sci-fi stuff\, this is the theme month for you! Not sure space or sci-fi is your thing? …Maybe we can change your mind! Plus\, you can still enjoy our craft of the month as you try to recreate your favorite book covers to decorate some special bookends. \nJune 11th: SUPERHEROES\nLove action and all things Super? Whether you are into DC\, Marvel\, both\, or a different set of heroes altogether\, join us to discuss some of our favorite books\, comics\, and graphic novels featuring superheroes. Plus\, learn how to bind your own books and comics! \nJuly 9th: BOOK TO MOVIE ADAPTATIONS\nWhether you like to read the book first or only hunt down the books after a great movie adaptation\, let’s talk about all the books we’ve read AND watched! Which movie (or TV show) will win for the best and worst adaptation as we debate which was better—the book? or the movie?—for some of our favorite teen books. Plus\, create a custom digital art piece to show off a list of books you’ve read and loved. \nAges 12–18. Just drop in!\nSeating will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Questions?
