DESCRIPTION:Hang out and make art at BCPL! \nOn the 3rd Tuesday of each month\, come explore your artistic limits! Raid our maker cart and choose from a variety of art supplies and tools—high-tech equipment like our Wacom art tablets to from low-tech supplies like oil pastels and fine-line drawing pens. Then\, use our supplies and your imagination to make your artistic visions a reality! We’ll often host special art\, design\, and craft instructors\, and new art project will be featured each month. We’ll also have drinks and snacks if you just want to chill and hang with your friends. \nFor middle & high school ages.\nJust drop in! Seating will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Questions? E-mail patrick@bcplib.org. \n\nUpcoming Makerspace activities at Mt. Washington include:\nNOVEMBER 20th: LEGOs\nWho says LEGOs are just for kids? Join fellow tweens and teens to build a GIANT LEGO creation together—or if you’re feeling anti-social\, you’re welcome to build on your own or in a smaller group. The sky is the limit! \nDECEMBER 18th: Cubelets\nRobots are the future of technology! One fun way of learning how robotics work is with Cubelets\, a modular robotic kit with endless possible combinations. Come experiment and learn to make your own awesome robot creations that light up\, move\, make noise\, and more! Beep boop! \nJANUARY 15th: Bad Art Night\nSometimes the ugliest art is the best! For Bad Art Night\, we challenge you to make the ugliest art possible from the supplies we’ll provide. \n
