Hang out and make art at BCPL!

On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, come explore your artistic limits! Raid our maker cart and choose from a variety of art supplies and tools—high-tech equipment like our Wacom art tablets to from low-tech supplies like oil pastels and fine-line drawing pens. Then, use our supplies and your imagination to make your artistic visions a reality! We’ll often host special art, design, and craft instructors, and new art project will be featured each month. We’ll also have drinks and snacks if you just want to chill and hang with your friends.

For middle & high school ages.
Just drop in! Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions? E-mail [email protected].

Upcoming Makerspace activities at Lebanon Junction include:

FEBRUARY 19th: DIY Brain Teasers
Do you love the challenge of handheld brain teasers and small puzzles? Join us to create a variety of brain teasers from everyday household objects, plus we’ll show you how to make something from scratch with our 3D printers.

MARCH 19th: Three Little Pigs Design Challenge
Build a house the Big, Bad Wolf can’t blow down! We all know the story of the Three Little Pigs, but have you ever wondered how your construction skills might fare against the lungs of the Big, Bad Wolf? Using items of varying strengths and durability, let’s see if we can build a house that the Wolf (that is, a fan or hair dryer!) won’t be able to blow down.

APRIL 16th: Mosaic Art Posters
Love art but can’t paint or draw much more than a stick figure? Or do you simply enjoy the beauty and creativity of mosaic art, where one whole, cohesive art design is created from tiny, colorful pieces of tile or paper? Join us for a group exploration of mosaic, where we will use small pieces of colored paper cut into different sizes to create beautiful art projects.
