DESCRIPTION:Paint like a Ross! \nOkay\, okay… So Bob Ross won’t be available\, but Bullitt County Arts Council President Terri Amody will be on site to help you get your paint on!  Step by step\, Terri will teach you the basics of painting with acrylics and guide you through creating your very own landscape masterpiece. This low-pressure workshop will give you a fun\, no-judgment place to get in touch with your inner artist as you create a beautiful work of art to take home with you. \nABOUT THE PRESENTER \nTerri Amody is the Bullitt County Art Council President and a self-taught artist who has been painting since the early 1980s. After experiencing the loss of a child\, Terri discovered that her great love of the landscape around her could prove therapeutic in handling her grief. She began painting as an effort to capture on canvas the beauty that surrounded her in Colorado. What began as a way to heal her emotions has become an artistic way of life for her. She continues to paint\, and teach\, in various mediums\, materials\, and subjects. \nFor ages 12 and up.\nRegistration is required for a select number of reserved seats. Additional seating will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Questions?
