DESCRIPTION:Poetry is ordinary language raised to the Nth power. Poetry is boned with ideas\, nerved and blooded with emotions\, all held together by the delicate\, tough skin of words.  –Paul Engle \nExplore the beauty of language and writing in a no-pressure poetry workshop with local author Lana Dean Helm. No experience required! Simply settle in with a hot beverage and let your creativity loose under the direction of our in-house poetry advisor. Each session will include instruction\, brainstorming\, and guided writing exercises. Plus\, there will be time for feedback and questions to provide inspiration and enhance your skills. \nWriting supplies will be furnished\, but participants are welcome to bring their own supplies or laptops. Light refreshments\, including coffee and tea\, will be provided. \nFor ages 18 and up.\nRegistration is required for a select number of reserved seats. Additional seating will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Questions?
