But there’s more to know about the local cicada broods that will be emerging this spring season and into the early summer. \nKiddos can connect with Paul Adkins of the 4-H Youth Development program to learn about these fascinating creatures and enjoy activities like nature drawing and watercolors. Meanwhile\, teens and adults can join Horticulture County Extension Agent Lorilee Kunze to further explore cicada lifecycles\, their songs\, and how to prevent damage to young trees and shrubs. \nIndividually wrapped refreshments will be provided. \nFor all ages.
