The Bullitt County Public Library provides assistance and information in person, by telephone, through our website, or in writing. Contact the Central Library reference desk to schedule a computer class, résumé consult, or e-book demonstration at any location.

Scheduled Reference Hours by Location:

Central Library Monday–Thursday  9:00 AM–8:00 PM
Friday & Saturday  9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hillview Branch Library Computer classes and other one-on-one reference services are available by appointment during regular library hours.
Lebanon Junction Branch Library Computer classes and other one-on-one reference services are available by appointment during regular library hours.
Mt. Washington Branch Library Computer classes and other one-on-one reference services are available by appointment during regular library hours.
Nichols Branch Library Computer classes and other one-on-one reference services are available by appointment during regular library hours.

For more research-intensive reference requests, please submit a Reference/Genealogy Request Form.

Assistance will be provided as quickly as possible, although there may be a delay before more involved requests can be answered. Responses will be delivered using whatever method you specify. The choices are e-mail, telephone, mail, or fax. Standard copy charges will apply.

Service is provided to everyone. It is not necessary to hold a library card to obtain assistance in the library, via the telephone, or through our website.

Special note for genealogy researchers: If you are unable to visit our Local History Room at Central Library, we can check library materials such as microfilm of the Pioneer News or our Family Files to assist your genealogical research. We cannot take on long term projects or research your family tree for you.
