Request an Interlibrary Loan

Do we not own an item you would like to access?

Many materials not available at Bullitt County Public Library may be borrowed from lending libraries around the country! Most items can be obtained free of charge from our in-state delivery network. However, sometimes requested items can only be borrowed from an out-of-state library system; in this case, items may still be borrowed for the cost of one-way postage as determined by the lending library.

*Note: If an item has been published within the current or previous year, please use the Request a Purchase form instead of ILL.

To request a book, audiobook, movie, or music CD: Please fill out one form for each item you are requesting. You may request as many items as needed, but can only take five out of the library at a time.

*NOTE: Every possible effort will be made to obtain a free copy via our in-state delivery network before we will investigate out-of-state lenders, which usually charge one-way postage for their services.
  • *NOTE: If an item has been published within the current or previous year, please use the Request A Purchase form instead of ILL.
