Bullitt County residents ages 14 and up are invited to submit an original work for our first annual ARTfest. You can draw, paint, collage, sew, stitch, and/or digitally create your artwork; however, for our inaugural year’s theme, your art should celebrate a woman of courage, commitment, and character for National Women’s History Month. How you interpret this year’s theme through art is entirely up to you. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Artwork will be added to the ARTfest display at Ridgway Memorial Library within a couple of days of receipt and will also be featured in a photo album on the library’s page on Facebook. Patrons will vote for their favorite submissions from March 24th to March 29th. The top three patron favorites will be announced on Monday, March 31st and each artist will be receive a $25 gift card to a Bullitt County business.*
Please register your interest as soon as possible. Fill out the registration form below, or contact us at 543-7675 ext. 2554. Also, remember: the earlier you submit your entry, the longer it will be displayed!
