Reading Challenges

Earn a ticket for our prize drawings for each reading achievement you meet over the summer. Kids also get small prizes along the way, and everyone who completes their challenge and turns in their reading log by the deadline receives their choice of a SummerQuest completer T-shirt or yard sign!

Kids' Challenge

Calling all kids ages birth to elementary ages! Read for at least 20 minutes every day of SummerQuest and record your reading times each day in the spaces provided on the map inside the Kids' Adventure Guide. (If you need a break, there is a free space for each leg of the journey.)

After you complete each leg of your journey, take your map to be stamped by your librarian in the "Mission Accomplished" space. While you're there, pick up your AWESOME prize and fill out an entry ticket for the Grand Prize drawings that will be held at the SummerQuest Finale.

Kids' Adventure Guides are available for pick up at any BCPL location. Logs must be returned to the Library no later than Saturday, August 12th to claim your Completer Prize.
